A 12-year-old dream became a reality when I officially registered our NGO, bringing immense joy and purpose. My inspiration came from Karunai Illam (a fostering center) in Kangayam, and Saidai Duraisamy’s Manithaneya Makkal Maiyam. I always wanted to contribute to society but initially believed financial independence was necessary before taking action.Over time, I realized that waiting for the “right time” wasn’t an option—good deeds should not be delayed. ¸
I wondered whether I should start an organization or simply donate and settled for the latter. After my half a decade journey as Donor, I couldn’t shake the question: why, despite countless charitable trusts, was there no visible impact? As I explored deeper, I saw the limitations of traditional charity models—focusing on temporary aid rather than long-term empowerment. Many organizations provided food or medical assistance but failed to create self-sustaining opportunities. This realization strengthened my resolve to take action, even in the face of personal challenges.
Life is like sailing a boat on the open sea—waiting for calm waters is futile. Instead, I chose to embrace the challenges and contribute to humanity. Please join me!
